Jobs
Just a random question. What does everyone do for a living? (or atleast the guys over 18) I'm a carpet installer. But, hopfully not for long. I want to go college next year. Does anyone work in any kind of Hockey related job for a living, I know Matt is a coach.

Re: Jobs
Ha ha ha... yeah big coach job LOL. I coached the local bantam rec team for a couple years but because of my real job, I couldn't be there half the time. I still enjoyed it though. Now I referee instead, usually in the AAA or competitive level so it gets me some extra cash to spend on "non-essential" things like my 360 or the new NHL game (according to my wife *sigh*).
Other than that, I'm a journalist by day and a superhero at night. Some people know me as superman. It's incredible what you can do with some glasses!!!
Ha ha just kidding

Re: Jobs
When I'm not in class I work for the state-wide grocery store "Baker's". I do kinda everything there, you could say I'm a 'utility player'. I do cashier-work and bagging, but I also work in stocking, dairy, the deli, floral department, I manage the garden-center in the summer, and lately I've been doing a lot of produce, which involves putting fruits and veggies on shelves and shucking and packaging corn.
I'm thinking about quitting though, because after 2.5 years of service there, it's all gotten redundant.

Re: Jobs
I am a program manager at an adult day center. Basically Seniors come in to our place and do social activities, community outings, etc. It is pretty cool as I am in control of the activity calendar and get to run the program as I see fit. I only see my boss once a week or so at staff meetings. It is only loosely related to my Psychology degree.

National Client Development Specialist at LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. I'm sort of a mix of sales, consultation, marketing, and advertising specialist for law firms across the country. I don't handle globally...yet. I try and provide total practice solutions to these firms to satisfy their marketing needs to draw upon additional exposure and credibility.

http://www.martindale.com/
Those are two of five platforms we offer besides the multiple venues of products.
Here is a video of what I basically offer: http://law.lexisnexis.com/lmc/walkthrough/default.asp?p=XS607RAG
It's mostly telephonic so I can reach a greater span than the field territory specialists. Fun company, really. I'm search engine marketing certified through SEMPO and basically combine that with some sales and consultation experience to mesh with law.
Good stuffs!
